Video Conference Facilities
We offer video conferencing capabilities utilizing Internet Protocol (IP). We can support point-to-point and multipoint connections, depending on the capabilities and equipment at the connecting site. We use a Polycom CODEC and conferencing involves cameras, monitors and microphones allowing subjects to be seen and heard for near-syncronous communications. Facilitators (equipment operators) are provided to operate all equipment. Located in Room 106 in Stanley Hall, the room has a capacity of 15 people seated at tables or up to 25 people in chairs. The facility is available primarily for academic and administrative functions. Requests for support should be submitted at least one week prior to the event and preferably, two weeks in advance.
