Frequently Asked Questions
By the Spring 2007 semester, all students and instructors will be using CougarVIEW (Vista) for their online course work. You can log-in to CougarVIEW on the CougarVIEW log-in page (type colstate.view.usg.edu into the browser address window). Both students and faculty can find answers to all of their CougarVIEW (Vista) questions by visiting either the FAQs section on the CougarVIEW website or the Online Support Center.
All students are given a default password using their birth date. The most common mistake new students make is typing in their password incorrectly. Remember to type in the following order the day (two digits), month (two digits), and year (two digits). If your birthday is June 10, 1986, then your password would be 100686 (day, month, year). All users can have their passwords reset by using their valid CSU email account and contacting the Online Support Center.
